The Akita Inu is a Japanese breed very old and belongs to the family of Asian Spitz has a very solid build in balance with the body, the muzzle broad and full and small ears compared to the head. Has a particularly dense hair on the neck which is big, muscular and with the loose skin. The tail of the AK Inu is very particular: it is very thick and curly on the back.

The Akita can be very aggressive towards strangers or other dogs but remains faithful to its master. Consider that in Japan the mothers let their children play with these dogs since the early years of life.

The life expectancy of a specimen of Akita is around 10 years. They can live peacefully in an apartment but have to do much exercise.

The training of an Akita Inu is very confusing because it tends to get bored and do his own thing, but with much patience and a daily exercise even a few minutes you could have good results.
